Commemorative Plaque for Hogar Heroes With the Grand Opening of the Maria Auxilidoria Hogar right around the corner there is a lot of planning to do.  Work, Play, Love has been working with The Orphan’s Hope Project since 2010 and have collectively raised over $150,000. Karen Rodas, the orphanage founder, is pulling out all of the stops to make this an incredible celebration.  Kim Melia will be in Guatemala for the entire month of May to help with the Grand Opening. For those of you that will be there in person, you will get to experience firsthand the joy that we have personally been blessed with.  You’ll have the opportunity to meet the beautiful children, see the brand new building and experience an entirely new culture.  Your lives will be touched...

  SO THANKFUL… I am forever thankful for my LegalShield family in the Louisville Kentucky area. I was grateful to just be asked to speak and train but then was breathless when I was presented a $1000 check for the girls Orphanage. This group of people were so kind hearted, gracious and giving…they raised money for just a short while and collected $1000 in no time.

Fundraising For the Girl’s Orphanage Raising money for these beautiful children can be simple and fun.  You can do it yourself, include friends and family, and even include your community to make an even bigger splash. We have brand new bracelets this year to help raise money for the operating costs of the girls’ orphanage.  We are thrilled to be able to offer these as a way to not only raise money but to raise awareness in your community of these amazing kids who need our ongoing support financially, mentally and spiritually.  All of the profits from the bracelet donations go 100% to the precious Orphans at the Hogar!  Thanks for your generosity in continuing our efforts on behalf of these beautiful children that need us so much!!!  Help our fundraising efforts by selling these bracelets in your community for no less than $5 a piece.  Some people will pay you more and that’s ok, just make sure to come back to this page and make that donation to the kiddos.
